My first experience with advocating on behalf of UNICEF's work began as a Freshman, during my time as VP of the campus club. Here, I educated, advocated and fundraised on behalf of UNICEF through campus engagement projects.

Cognitive Neuroscience Society Secretary

The Honors College - Cognitive Neuroscience Society is a network for individuals at FIU interested in understanding the nature of the mind through interdisciplinary means by exploration of cognitive science. During my time as Secretary, I was responsible for leading a committee in accomplishing tasks such as arranging articles and literature for discussion at meetings, many which came from brilliant scientists and thinkers from all over the world.

UNICEF NextGEN
Planning Committee Member

I have been volunteering on the planning committee for UNICEF NextGen Miami since October. I have helped plan and execute several events that address international issues. Such events include a  human trafficking awareness mixer and a Bahamian Relief Social. I am currently in the process of planning a “World’s Big Sleep Out” event with Avenue 3 to raise homelessness awareness.
